Statement of Requirements (SORs) are produced for new equipment prior to installation in a well, or where design changes in material or environment require new performance standards in the well envelope.The Nexus SOR process is a management tool designed to allow the Specifier and the Supplier to reach agreement on:

   * Verification of the Well Conditions
   * Equipment Performance
   * Standards to be met
   * Safety Management
   * Business and Reputation Risk

After agreement is reached the SOR is ratified by a Third Party Assurance Engineer. SORs may also be produced for products and services that are critical on safety or business reputation grounds.
